Carpenter's cottage (Part 2), Aura, Finland

The first room really was full of elaborate woodwork, and the second room and the kitchen were very colourful and full of stored stuff. I loved especially the green walls, because the paint was transparent and the wood pattern was visible, as you can see. The family who lived here clearly had had animals, at least cows and amino acid optimized fodder sacks for them. They were also cultivating their lands with barley, making scale models and reading lots of books. We found two old photographs of the kids from the seventies. They were lying on the floor with dust and dirt. The kitchen equipment was also very retro. I really love old enamel dishes, pans and pots.
